Machine-Ground Interaction Consortium (MaGIC)
A consortium series centering around vehicle-ground interaction modeling and simulation. Researchers from across industry, government, and academia gather at UW-Madison to present on recent developments, as well as participate in a hands-on tutorial of the Project Chrono software suite for multibody dynamics. This event offers networking opportunities and the chance to get hands-on experience with Project Chrono software.
The list of organizations that have participated in MaGIC thus far includes US Army TARDEC, US Army ERDC, Japan Department of Defense, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA, Open Source Robotics Foundation, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Caterpillar, P&H Mining, MSC.Software, Simertis Gmbh, BAE Systems, Eaton Corporation, Rescale, Red Cedar Technology, Simens, NVIDIA, Nevada Automotive Test Center, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Oshkosh Corporation, John Deere, Statoil, Proctor and Gamble, Cooper Industries, GlaxoSmithKline, Motionport, Altair, Hendrickson, Intuitive Machines, Energid Technologies, SmartUQ, SimLab Soft, Progeneric Systems, Function Bay, Trek Bicycles, Dynamic Simulation Technologies, Johns Hopkins University, University of Iowa, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Parma (Italy), Politecnico di Milano (Italy), MIT, Darmstadt University (Germany), University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Aarhus (Denmark), Beijing Institute of Technology (China), Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics at Kaiserslautern University (Germany), and Inha College (S.
