August 3-4, 2016
Held at the Suburban Collection Showplace
Novi, MI
Event Sponsors: Altair and SmartUQ
Overview
Day 1:
The Simulation-Based Engineering Lab at the University of Wisconsin – Madison will host the “Next Generation Mobility Modeling and Simulation” workshop on August 3, 2016, at the Suburban Collection Showplace, in Novi, Michigan. The workshop will bring together engineers and researchers whose contributions are expected to shape up the next generation of modeling and simulation tools for manned/unmanned vehicle off-road mobility. In a broader context, the workshop’s emphasis is on topics aligned with the mission of the NATO Applied Vehicle Technology Panel, which oversees the development of the next generation NATO Reference Mobility Model (NG-NRMM). There will be networking opportunities throughout the day and a reception scheduled for the evening of August 3, 2016.
Day 2:
On August 4, MaGIC registrants will attend, at no additional cost, the NDIA’s 8th Annual Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering & Technology Symposium (GVSETS) Technical Sessions. The five GVSETS technical sessions include selected paper presentations on the following topics: Modeling, Simulation, Testing, and Validation (MSTV), Autonomous Ground Systems (AGS), Power and Mobility (P&M), Systems Engineering (SE), and Vehicle Electronics and Architecture (VEA). The window to submit abstracts has closed.
