Asher Elmquist

Asher joined the Simulation-Based Engineering Lab in 2015 as an undergrad and received a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 and 2019. While an undergraduate, he received the Faustin Prinz Undergraduate Research Fellowship and graduated with Honors in Research. He is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on simulating autonomous vehicles and robots, specifically relating to understanding and improving sensor simulation for developing, testing, and evaluating autonomous behavior.
