ME 1235 Lab

I just wanted to check if CUDA works in ME1235 lab. So that in future if required, I may use it.

It appears that the machines in the lab have a GPU card and CUDA is installed, but the folder >\NVIDIA CUDA SDK\projects is write protected. So when I tried to copy stuff in this directory for checking problem 3 from Homework-2, it did not allow me to paste anything in there.

Can anything be done abput it ?

Re: ME 1235 Lab

I explicitly asked that they let us write in that directory and CAE said they'll take care of it and it's not going to be an issue.

I'll follow up on that.

Another show stopper might be the version of the C++ compiler.  I'll follow up on that as well.

Thank you,
Dan

Yes, the C++ version compiler is a pain. Not all commands work.

So I keep hopping between your group's lab and Ram's lab for my Homeworks -:(

Vikalp,
can you mention some of the things that don't work with the lab's C++ compiler?  Maybe some of them are easily fixable.

Re: ME 1235 Lab

I do not remember exactly which commands were not working. As I did not spend enough time on fixing the problems on any of the lab machines.

However, I know that my matrix addition code that I submitted for Homework, did work, however, the matrix multiplication did not.
