Project 2 (Body 3 and 4)

Do we need to include body 3 and 4 in the dynamics analysis. I am pretty sure we do not have to include body 4 but I am not sure about body 3. For body 3 couldnt we just represent it using the coordinates of body 2? What I am trying to get at is can we mirror the kinematic constraints to the ones in Lecture notes 11/20 slide 13-15?

Thanks

Re: Project 2 (Body 3 and 4)

It says in the problem statement we should solve for 9 values of q so there should just be 3 bodies in the analysis.
