Ryan - from looking at your results, i believe that you have a small mistake in the expression of the Jacobian for problem 4. you find the solution but it takes you too many iterations. go back and double check that the partial derivatives in the 2X2 Jacobian matrix are correct. you should converge in 4 or 5 iterations.

Problem 3c:
t = .37
phi = [0;0;3.895575]
phi_q = [1, 0, -.685; 0, 1, -.729; 0, 0, 1]

(I did this problem a little differently, but this is what my phi_q would come out to. I just had to do 2 simple trigonometry calcs after getting matlab results. My method is also why I got an identity matrix in part b instead of a -1 in one position. I was confused with this at first, but it makes sense now. I can try to explain what I did if you have any questions)
